ADA’s Higher Logic Thrive Community Saves Staff Time and Improves Member Engagement

The Australian Dental Association (ADA) uses Higher Logic Thrive Platform to connect nation-wide members via their online community, Peer. In the community, members can network and learn – and both ADA and their members can share industry resources and expertise. ADA also uses the community as a channel to highlight their membership services and make sure all members have easy access to their benefits. 

ADA has multiple member groups with access to different closed communities tailored to their interests. Using Higher Logics security groups and automation rules, coupled with the dynamic integration between their community and member management system, ADA can easily and automatically enable or disable access to these different Peer communities for each member coinciding with what they should have access to and with their membership terms.

The ADA Peer Community significantly reduced the amount of time staff spend on member enquiries. Instead of staff receiving individual questions via email, members ask their questions in the community and the resulting answers benefit not just the questionee, but other readers.
