According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, by 2031 the majority of the workforce will be from the Millennial (1981-1996) and Gen Z (1997-2013) generations, with Millennials making up over 40% of the labor force and Gen Z making up around 30%. Add to this that the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the way people work and learn, and it becomes even more crucial for associations to consider how to optimize their work and membership experience to attract and retain the next generation of members and staff.
